is an organization of dedicated Saint Paul’s College alumni, family, and friends, galvanized for the purpose of purchasing and reopening the College in the Fall of 2023. Faced with a myriad of challenges, the SPC4LIFE stakeholders are committed to reigniting its rich history with humility, unity, and love, infused with the spirit of excellence and transparency.
Under the auspices of SPC4LIFE, opportunity for community development and improvement to the abandoned buildings, which are rapidly deteriorating and currently for sale, have been identified on the college campus. While opportunities for future HBCU students to pursue higher education are still relevant today, it is important to re-establish and sustain the HBCU experience within a nurturing educational environment.
The solution to plan, develop and implement strategies for Alumni engagement and partnership with the community, other HBCUs, private and non-profit organizations, and local, state, and federal governments are underway. Progress toward a focused approach, to include accountability, has enabled SPC4LIFE to embark upon a journey of dedication, determination and provisional excellency. The SPC4LIFE envisions Saint Paul’s College as a 21st Century Higher Learning Institute that is sustained with quality education and attractive collegiate programs that showcase Saint Paul’s College as a school of choice.
The SPC4LIFE mission is to reclaim Saint Paul’s College as the beacon of progress and advancement for African Americans with a diverse and inclusive campus. To restore its economic partnerships with Brunswick County and the Town of Lawrenceville which has been invaluable for over 125 years.
Historic Saint Paul’s College in the Town of Lawrenceville is the vibrant shining star of Southern Virginia. Saint Paul’s College is an eclectic, walkable, charming area enriched by the interaction between Downtown Lawrenceville and diverse local community. Saint Paul’s innovative educational curriculum is the expert in data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and wood products usage which are erasing the inadequacies of skills prevalent in today’s workforce.
A wonderful quality of life makes Saint Paul’s College and Lawrenceville’s Downtown a destination for nature lovers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and artists. The college and town have a reputation as a welcoming and warm respite for families, students, and visitors from across the nation.
Overcoming wistfully feeling (stuck in the past) for what it once was in order to envision what it can become.
